12.16.16 - Jane always with me

I’m so glad to know the baby is a girl and to be able to refer to her as Jane now. Pregnancy has many drawbacks but one of the bonuses is knowing the baby is always with you, always warm enough, fed, safe. When we flew into MO yesterday I was thinking about how much easier it is to keep Jane comfortable compared to Clara. :-P Now I’m at Mid Rivers BreadCo, half-absorbed in working on a manuscript for my internship, and every now and then I think about how Jane is with me the whole time, just hanging out. In some senses it’s a lot less effort than once they’re born. I’m thinking a lot more now about how small she is (7 inches at the larger end) compared to Clara.
