3.14.21 - Joy status: finding childcare

5-6 weeks ago I sucked it up and paid for a membership to Care dot com so I could post an ad, and since then we've hired two sitters to rotate weekends. So far each one has been unexpectedly unavailable once, and the other has been able to cover for them (hence hiring two of them). We've had at least a bit of help for four weekends in a row, and it's making a huge difference.

And as a bonus, one of them has a 7-year-old daughter who I said we'd be happy to have along, so now the kids are getting a little bit more other-kid exposure. Clara in particular is thrilled.
