First of all, last night I spent about 2 hours walking around Davis and chatting with Nikki about TAing, our relationships, politics, and so on. It was great to see her. She's such a fabulous listener--she laughs a lot and makes me feel so funny, and she's quick to praise, encourage, and support. So uplifting to be around.

Then today I got to Skype with Mom for an hour in the morning. I went into Davis early to go for a walk with Molly and talk to her about all the interesting conversations I've been having with new people I've met, especially JB. I also talked to her about a lot of the brainstorms for my blog lately on religion. She's a great listener too.

Then I spent probably over two hours chatting with Janice and Saxon in the FSC about how we met our bfs and their families and so on. A lot of story swapping, which was also really nice.

Just like relating to people. Today was a very social day.

I had an amazing weekend making new friends and getting a lot of encouragement. I also had the best compliment I've ever received for one of my blog posts--a random stranger on the internet reposted my post in Reddit and asked people to help him or her refute the logic. HA! If only all of my blog posts sent people running asking for help from the irrefutable arguments I can think up. Not even close, but having that happen even once was amazing. I was giddy.
