11.12.13
- Went to the dentist for the first time in at least 9 years, probably longer, and still had no cavities! In fact the dentist complimented my beautiful teeth.
- And the visit was 100% covered by my insurance.
- And the technician was super sweet and easy to talk to (or listen to, rather) the whole time
- plus I was in a room with a window facing outside and their was a kitten on the fence watching us.
- There is beautiful fall foliage everywhere right now!
- My laptop recovery CD arrived, two days earlier than expected.
- Wore an old shirt Julie made for me years ago (Team Locke) and it was a good memory.
- Got decent studying done at school.
- Got to talk to the program director again, which is pretty much always pleasant.
- Tried In & Out for the first time, and it was delicious!
- Studied one-on-one with Rachel and pet her cat, Blue, and had some of her chocolate coffee gelato.
- Jack was back from class when I finally got home.
- Twice today it was 9:10 on 11/12/13. :)

11.11.13
- Started pinning autumn and Christmas craft ideas. I'm already excited to make something for my program's Christmas party, even though they haven't even announced the party yet, haha.
- Hung new homemade decorations in my bedroom. They are magazine cut outs of song lyrics glued to book pages, mounted and framed using old frames found in Dad's garage. I love just looking at them.
- Good study session with my three recent study partners. Maybe the midterm tomorrow night won't be so bad...
- Jack made a delicious chicken rice bean dish. He made up the recipe, got the groceries, and cooked it all while I was studying. So nice.
- Jack started reading to me from our latest book of things we want to learn together. I love it when he does this because it turns tasks like folding laundry and hemming clothes into time learning something together.

11.10.13
- Got a lot of good studying done for 5-6 hours at Starbucks
- With a lot of help from study partners
- Made up a potato soup recipe with spinach and bacon, and it was pretty good for a first attempt
- Watches Sons of Anarchy with Jack
- While putting together another magazine collage (I love cutting up magazines)
- Listened to "Royals" by Lorde over and over. I love it when I find a new song I like so much it's the only song I want to listen to for awhile.

11.8.13
Today had a rough start because my laptop wouldn't turn on. However I still have many things to be thankful for, like...
- When I got upset about the laptop Jack immediately went to work figuring out what is wrong with it and trying to fix it.
- And we always have our good, ol' reliable friend Mike to go to with computer issues. He's so helpful.
- And later today Jack went out and bought the cord we need to retrieve my files.
- Before the laptop debacle, I did get up really early and worked out for an hour in advance of a busy day.
- I got to chat with Teresa while walking the mile or so from where I parked to a professor's office.
- I made it to office hours and got a lot of clarification on confusing material. Plus I just felt reassured by how friendly the professor was.
- I babysat for Nikki, and her daughter is a pretty easy kid to watch. Made her laugh a lot goofing around on the playground.
- Also the weather was beautiful for hanging out at a playground so long. So were the trees in the park.
- And it was a happy kind of nostalgia because I used to live in that same neighborhood when I was a toddler. Life is weird.
- Plus sometimes it's just nice to be able to help a friend out.
- I was able to fit in about 2 hours (cumulative) of studying despite so much going on today.
- Jack and I had a nice date night, dinner and good conversation. The conversation was so good, in fact, that one of the server's commented on how we seemed to be having such a good conversation.
- And we got to use a Groupon for dinner, which makes the bill so very small. :)
- And right after we left the restaurant we realized the automated system they have meant Jack tipped 20% on only the cost after our Groupon (which is almost nothing), so he drove back to give them $5. What a sweetheart.
- AND I got a letter in the mail from Bryan!

11.7.13
- I really enjoy being the TA for our seminar class.
- I have a dentist appointment next week that's 100% covered by my insurance.
- Got to talk to Ellen for over an hour, commiserating on online arguments and school stuff.
- Got some decent studying in today.
- I worked out even though I really didn't feel like it, so I was proud.
- And I made more onion soup.
- I finished reading the handgun safety study guide, so I feel very informed about handguns now
- Molly sent me an "instruction manual" for how to watch Walking Dead episodes, and the manual is hilarious.

11.5.13
Today...
- Stayed in bed the first couple hours and answered emails I've been putting off
- Jack didn't have to be at work until 11am so I got to see him in the morning
- Chatted with the Starbucks cashier about this and that. I'm up there enough that they recognize me now, haha
- Spent hours at Starbucks in the corner working on my presentation for tomorrow
- Got to chat with both Julie and Ellen for a long while in the afteroon
- Jack came to hang out with me during his lunch, and I was walking home as he drove back to work and as he drove by me he rolled down the window and yelled "I like you!" and it was pretty funny.
- Got a free drink with Starbucks rewards
- Had a lovely home-cooked dinner with Jess, including delicious Roscato
- Made plans for an eventual Christmas cookie party!
- Skyped with Renata & Kaisen for a few minutes
- Laughed a lot at these photos:
